i been running on overclocked apu and radeon 6670 for about a few days now, and last night my pc was acting up,   the computer will get stuck on the welcome screen of windows 7 but by the sound of the audio i know i was in the desktop.  so i had to usb boot to BT5 and run repair disk of the c drive. that fixed the problem and was able to boot to the desktop. then today while i was playing saints row, the game froze and a loud buzzing sound came from inside the computer case.

i went back to stock settings.

Looks like the well-realized computer dream is about to come crashing to a fiery, component-melting halt. Oh well. You can always upgrade to a Commodore 64 if the PC you're using now shits the bed.

Getting a quality product costs about the same as buying a cheap product and then replacing it with a mediocre one.

AMD is a quality product.  example.

A lambo is expensive and nice and fast and high quality.

A toyota is inexpensive and nice and gets the job done and last longer then a lambo

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I've never had a problem with AMD products. I've ran many of their CPUs for years without complaint, and would again if the price is right. It's just hard to look past the performance gap that Intel currently has in the market. It wasn't always so wide in the early and middle parts of the last decade.

I recall some stability issues during the 1800+ - 3200+ era. That could be down to other cheap components though.
