I enjoy this game so fucking much even though there are some hard issues in it. Imagine how much more the game could have been without being tainted with stability issues and the outcry for weekly patches.

I'm getting too old for this. Missing so many releases lately because of the damn lack of free time.
Another update was released yesterday:

would it kill the release group to put patch notes in their patches, they'll go on a page long rant about eachother and the size of their e-peens but can't be bothered to copy and past the patch notes.

I agree. But for the record, the latest patch just officially adds the 4GB memory support.

I have to agree with the patch notes, but what's even worse is when developers try to push patches on us without providing a changelog.

Well, if the game Auto-Patches and the changes are more or less minimal such as :

*Better compability / performance with some hardware.
*Fixes on minor bugs (such as text errors, some texture problems etc).
*Fixes on gamepads , joysticks compability / handling etc.

Then it wouldnt matter much if they give you the release notes or not, however once they are changing core elements of the game (such as certain weapons getting removed some buffs etc) then you really should now so you don't end up on the short end of the stick.
