i've always wanted to play planescape: torment but every time i tried i couldn't get into it because it's so old.

I've completed it 2.5 times. The music and story/atmosphere are better than ANY other game for me but yes, the graphics are dated. That's why I didn't haven't completed it a third time yet. If you're never gonna play it, I highly suggest you download the pdf novel of it. It's basically a play-through of the game written as a novel. Download the soundtrack, loop it and read the novel.

One of the best songs from the soundtrack:
Planescape: Torment Deionarra's Theme

Blade Runner from Westwood. The first two Fallouts. Anachronox which I actually played based on recommendations from isonews. The first Mafia is up there definitely. Anything from the old Lucas Arts studio is awesome. Gothic 1 and 2.
