« on: September 07, 2010, 04:04:38 PM »
Looks like there have been some police raids today. Apparantly some scene sites got busted.

This aint gonna even slow down warez spreading.. but it costed quite a lot and took 2 years of work. yeah, totally worth it.. they also raided places like umeå university. Some poor fuckers are going to get their lifes ruined.

And you guys insipidly harangue the so-called "P2P scene". Those guys are the only ones who can consistently bring product.

Leave them kids alone.

I guess this isn't coincidental that recently rapidshare turned into a bitch and many scene related websites having problems finding decent and reliable hosts without them getting threatened days after taking on questionable clients.

Afaik this was mostly aimed at topsites and certain p2p "parties". More than likely ed2k hubs, trackers and so on. Seriously a big waste of time though. Everytime one source gets busted, people all make new ones, probably half wont make it but the leftovers always leave higher numbers than the original situation. If anti piracy groups and cops havent learned this by now they'll never learn it.

Yeah, I can't believe they don't see that they are losing plenty of money on such endeavors. Kind of reminds me of the US's so called "war on drugs".
